How to choose kiwis

Kiwis that have the inside green are only delicious when they’re ripe. To recognize a ripe green kiwi, you should hold it in your hand and slightly crush it; if it’s soft, it’s ripe and can be eaten immediately; otherwise, you need to wait for the fruits to be ripen itself at room temperature for 3-5 days, or you can cover them with paper or nylon for a faster ripening process.

Golden kiwis can be eaten right after being bought from supermarket, market or fruit stores. A ripe kiwi can be stored for 5-7 days; it’d better to be eaten cold.
