How to choose kiwis
Kiwis that have the inside green are only
delicious when they’re ripe. To recognize a ripe green kiwi, you should hold it
in your hand and slightly crush it; if it’s soft, it’s ripe and can be eaten
immediately; otherwise, you need to wait for the fruits to be ripen itself at
room temperature for 3-5 days, or you can cover them with paper or nylon for a
faster ripening process.
Golden kiwis can be eaten right after being
bought from supermarket, market or fruit stores. A ripe kiwi can be stored for
5-7 days; it’d better to be eaten cold.

Kiwi can cause allergic symptoms to some
pregnant women, such as nausea, vomiting, etc…
When buying kiwi, you should choose the one
that has the round and full-faced shape. Ripe kiwis will be soft and
sweet-smelling. Avoid those that are bruised, overripe and wet. Pregnant women had
better eat 1 to 2 kiwis a day.
