Vitamin C

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient that your body definitely needs more of. This vitamin will give your body antioxidants to make your body more resilient to diseases, infections, and some cancers. The more vitamin C you take on a regular basis the stronger your bones, muscles, and blood vessels will be.

Doctors strongly suggest for people to increase their vitamin C intake during the cold and flu season since it will strengthen your immune system and defend yourself better. Take at least 65 to 75 mg daily of vitamin C. Don't take no more than 2000 mg daily of vitamin C or you could develop problems like diarrhea, nausea, and kidney stones.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is the vitamin you need if you want stronger bones and healthier teeth. Vitamin D can also strengthen your immune system so you can fight off health problems like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, arthritis, asthma, gum disease, and much more.

Your skin can also benefit from taking daily vitamin D supplements as it will help prevent skin disorders like psoriasis vitiligo, and acne. The best time to take vitamin D supplements is after you eat food that contains fat so it can be absorbed by your body better.

Many people get most of their vitamin D via sunlight. The recommended dosage for vitamin D supplement daily is 50 IU to 1,000 IU. Once again make sure you take the supplement after you eat, primarily after you eat a heavy meal that contained fat.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E contains a wide range of antioxidants that will help protect your body from free radicals that can cause serious health issues. Vitamin E will help strengthen our immune system so it can fight off any potential viruses or bacteria.

Vitamin E will help improve the function of your brain and improve the health of your muscles. You should take at least 15mg of vitamin E supplements daily. Since this is a fat soluble vitamin it is best to take it after you eat a meal that contains fat so your body can absorb it better. High doses of vitamin E might increase the body's vitamin K requirement.

These are the most important vitamins you should start including in your daily diet. Look at your body as a superior machine that needs maintenance each day in order for it to perform at a high level for a long time. These vitamins will give your body the daily maintenance it needs to keep you healthy for a long time.
