Researchers assigned a group of women to modest exercises every week under supervision, concurrently they were consulted about weight gaining and home practice. Other people received standard before-delivery care. 47% of women who took the exercises gained more than advised weight during pregnancy, but anyway it was better than women who didn’t take any exercises. 57% of them gained too much weight. Averagely, overweight women taking exercises gained 22 pounds, meanwhile women who didn’t take exercises gained 36 pound. It is the same to blood pressure levels of 2 groups, and heart rates of newborn babies, and it proves exercises are safe.
