The long-term alternating raining and sunny
weathers not only make the house, clothes stinky, but also create the chance
for mosquitos, mold and bugs to develop and cause respiratory tract, digestive
infections and flu… So, How to cope with it?
Families should increase the absorption of
nutrients to deal with the diseases caused by the hot-dry weather.
Don’t get home late
Weather changing and drizzle tend to cause
respiratory tract diseases (stuffy nose, coughing, rheum, shortness of breath,
VA inflammation, tonsillitis, sinusitis…) which dues to super-micro and micro
viruses. Adults can have mild cold, cough, but to the old people and children
(especially the 2-year-old one), the diseases can get worse quickly and turn to
epiglottitis and lung inflammation. Therefore, you shouldn’t go out when it
rains, go out late or be near cough patients to avoid getting infections.
At
night, children often kick the blanket out so parents should take notice of
this and blanket them to avoid cold.
When there’s a sunny rain, moms can protect
their children from respiratory diseases and flu… by put thin cotton shirts on
the children. Take them off at noon in case the sweat absorbs into the skin and
causes cold to children. In the late afternoon, dress your children coats
before go out. At night, children often kick the blanket out so parents should
take notice of this and blanket them to avoid cold.
If children have mild cough or sneeze, you
should also take them to a doctor, especially when they have high fever,
shortness of breath and stop eating… The diseases of mouth, sinus and nose…
need radical treatments to prevent the recurrence and complication; need
suitable prescription to avoid medicine resistance.
Keep the house dry
Musty houses have lots of bacteria. For
that reason, to prevent diseases, keep the house cool, clean and dry. Clothes
shouldn’t be hanged a lot on the wall; the bed area should be curtained off. To
prevent mold and micro-mold, it’s necessary to lower the heat of the house, get
rid of musty stuff to avoid allergy and respiratory infections… Bedroom,
especially the children’s, need to desiccant abilities. Do not hang wet clothes
in the kitchen, bathroom because it will make the clothes stinky and
difficultly get dried. Before wearing clothes, remember to iron them to get rid
of bacteria and have nice clothes.
For
that reason, to prevent diseases, keep the house cool, clean and dry.
Sunny rain can also make the rain coat
stinky, blackened or have white mold. After using rain coats, you should hang
them high till they’re dry and fold them. If rain coats are dirty, use soap and
soft brusher to clean the dirt then hang them in a place that is shady. To rain
suits, you just need to use a towel, wet it with soapy water and clean the
suits in order to cleanse the suits without wearing them. If raincoats have
white mold, you need to use a soft cloth which is wetted with vinegar to get
rid of the white mold. To cope with the black spots and mold on raincoats, you
should use a cloth wetted with lemonade to clean the raincoats then put them in
the sunlight for a few hours before washing them again with soap.
Add nutrition
The
period of time that one season shift to another is the time your resistances
have to suffer from the big changes of the environment.
The period of time that one season shift to
another is the time your resistances have to suffer from the big changes of the
environment. Hence, to improve health and fight against diseases, you need to
improve the resistances of the body by eating foods that are rich in vitamin C,
such as orange, pomelo, lemon. You should eat more vegetables that are good for
respiratory tracts, such as sweet pepper which can clean the respiratory
system; cruciferous vegetables which help improve immune system and prevent
micro-viruses with their immune agents like Glucosinolate and antioxidant;
spring onion can prevent inflammation as well as have plenty of
micro-substances that can fight against bacteria, especially, the ones
attacking the respiratory system and micro-bacteria.
Besides, you should also provide yourself
fibrous foods like cabbage, broccoli, carrot, corn and yam… which help reduce
bad cholesterol absorption of the blood.

Use saline as eye drop everyday
At the period of time, eyes are easily got
hurt by allergy. The symptoms are eyelid inflammation, eye itching, congested
eyes… Every day you should have some 0.9% sodium chloride saline eye drops for
several times. If the itch is so bad, use 0.4% Clorox.

Let the feet relax
Long-term sunny rain leads to the fact that
people often have mold infection by wearing shoes, socks for a long period of
time. That’s because the air hardly circulate in the shoes. Therefore, when at
home, office, people should wear flip-flop to prevent the feet from wet air
that causes fungal infection. In daily time, you should wait till the feet are
dry before wearing socks and shoes.
