People who use aspirin have 45% decrease in
the mortality risk of chronic liver diseases and 41% decrease in the risk of
liver cancer development.
A research which has been published in
Journal of the National Cancer Institute magazine (England) shown that using
aspirin seems to relate to the decrease of the risk of liver cancer and the
mortality risk of chronic liver diseases.
People
who use aspirin have 45% decrease in the mortality risk of chronic liver
diseases and 41% decrease in the risk of liver cancer development.
Scientists did the research on 300,000
people who were from 50-71 years old and had use aspirin or anti-inflammations
containing steroid (NSAIDs). They received condition monitoring in 10 to 12
years. All that time, there were over 400 people died of chronic liver diseases
and 250 people are diagnosed liver cancer.
Scientists said that in comparison to
people using NSAIDs, ones who used aspirin had 45% decrease in mortality risk
of chronic liver diseases and 42% decrease in the risk of liver cancer
possibility. People using NSAIDs that didn’t contain aspirin have 26% mortality
risk of chronic liver diseases but have no decrease in the risk of liver
cancer.
People
using NSAIDs, ones who used aspirin had 45% decrease in mortality risk of
chronic liver diseases and 42% decrease in the risk of liver cancer
possibility.
Some researched showed that the chronic
inflammation caused by liver diseases could support cancer development while
other ones showed that aspirin and NSAIDs could decrease the risk, factors of
cancer.
According to specialist’s explanations, the
reasons causing chronic liver diseases and liver cancer are hepatitis B, C virus
infection and drinking alcohol. Besides, obesity and diabetes are also factors
of liver issues.
If those results are accepted, using
aspirin can be a treating method to prevent chronic hepatitis and live cancer.
It’s concluded by DR. Vikrant Sahasrabuddhe, the one is currently detailed as
Associate Investigator to the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at
the National Cancer Institute (NCI), America, the leader of the research, and
his colleagues.
Using
aspirin needs being under doctor’s prescriptions or it’ll cause dangerous side
effects.
However, researchers recommended that using
aspirin needs being under doctor’s prescriptions or it’ll cause dangerous side
effects, especially to people who have stomach problems.
While having found out the relation between
using aspirin and the decrease in the risk of liver issues, the research
couldn’t prove the essential relationship between them.
