Breaking amniotic fluid prematurely and early

Premature amniotic fluid breaking is state that takes place when you don’t have sign of beginning labor, but amniotic fluid breaks. Early amniotic fluid breaking takes place when sign of beginning labor appears, but neck of the womb doesn’t open completely. About substance, premature amniotic fluid breaking is more dangerous because amniotic fluid in womb can contaminate bacteria after 5-6 hours. Fetus can easily contaminate bacteria in respiratory system, they will meet dangerous thing in the process of beginning labor or after giving birth. Mothers can also serious postnatal contaminate bacteria. Therefore, pregnant women that break amniotic fluid prematurely need to use antibiotic immediately and they need to be intervened to take fetus out early by making surgery. When this case takes place, you shouldn’t let labor last because it can lead to the high risk of death for both mother and child.

Fallen placenta

Fallen placenta often takes place when amniotic fluid breaks because at this time, pressure of increasing amniotic fluid and presentation (popular with head, rump, shoulder presentation) don’t reduce. Placenta can be touched in vagina and it also depends to each of the cases. If this case takes place with head presentation, the risk of fetus’s death will be higher than the case of contrary or ordinary presentation.

Fallen placenta needs to be given emergency aid timely when fetus is alive. In this case, pregnant need to lean over with the rear end sticking up (even when you are moved to operating room or in car) so that presentation won’t weigh down on placenta. If pregnant women are put to lie on their back on stretcher, the risk of fetus’s death will be higher. Midwife needs to have warm gauze to absorb water and it is put in vagina so that placenta won’t fall.

Navel cord ties baby’s neck

About 1/3 the number of babies is born with navel cord that ties their neck and it also depends on different level. Not all cases that babies’ necks are tied with navel cord are dangerous. Doctors only need to cut navel cord, and as a result, babies can be born easily.

In some cases, because navel cord is tied with big thickness, doctors must carry out to cut navel cord before babies are born. However, process of taking babies out of mothers’ wombs must be manipulated quickly because when navel cord is cut, babies won’t have any association with their mothers.

Newborn baby are choked

In this case, newborn babies cannot breathe naturally, or they breathe and cry, but after that they cannot continue breathing (mainly caused by skill of midwife). These 2 states can lead to death, unhealthiness in a long time, lung inflammation or disability.

Newborn babies are choked and it means that they cannot breathe normally.

Newborn babies are choked and it means that they cannot breathe normally.

How to be careful with the case that babies are choked? Mothers need to go to medical station that has midwife to be taken care of and followed the process of beginning labor and delivering. To medical executives, they need to follow true process of beginning labor and they need to avoid letting process of beginning labor last in 24 hours. If giving birth is conducted, pregnant women need to be followed about spasm of uterus and fetus heart. If fetus heart is over 165 times/minute or under 120 times/minute, it is sign of fetus failure. If you don’t handle well, it will make newborn babies choke. Delivery room needs to have system of oxygen to use in necessary cases.

When babies are choked, the first thing that needs to be done is make their respiratory system clear, eliminate all of mucus that they breathe in process of being born. Babies need to be kept warm during the process of curing choking (ensure that this temperature is equal to that in mothers’ wombs), make respiration with oxygen.

Hemorrhage to pregnant women

Hemorrhage takes place most in period of rushing placenta. The reason is that genital organ is torn after giving birth. Neck of womb and vagina will cause bleeding most and next is torn vulva. Broken uterus is dangerous because it causes bleeding and makes the whole bod painful. The rate of death in this case is very high.

Although hemorrhage is dangerous, it’s easy to diagnose it because we cannot see with eyes. If pregnant women are behaved to stop the bleeding immediately, they have less danger. If this case is handled slowly (slow in diagnosing and behaving), the state of pregnant women will become more serious quickly, and as a result, it can lead to the high risk of death. Women that give birth many times or have history of bleeding a lot, women that are over 35 years old and give birth in the first time or have scar in uterus in the previous times of giving birth can easily catch this accident, so pregnant women should pay attention.
